The Glories of San Francisco

San Francisco is home to Sublime Delights and our entire staff. We love it here in a way only Herb Caen would appreciate. For anyone not familiar with Herb Caen he was a writer for the San Francisco Chronicle and local hero. To give a little taste of his sense of humor he once said, "One day if I do go to heaven...I'll look around and say, 'It ain't bad, but it ain't San Francisco." From weather to history to culture the City has much to offer everyone. Visitors to the City have incredible restaurants, museums, public art and architecture, and funky neighborhoods to visit.

Traveling to San Francisco can be a bit of a daunting task if you have never been here before. But, don’t worry San Francisco is a tourist friendly place with ample support for visitors. San Franciscans are like people living in any big city—busy and preoccupied with their own lives. Don’t be put off by our public personas, if you make the effort to be polite and empathetic San Franciscans can be friendly and helpful.

Most of all this is our chance to share our favorite places to eat and things to do in San Francisco. It'll take a while but we hope to create an "insiders" guide to the City. The City is such a cool place that often people come here on vacations and end up never leaving. What we want to do is show you how cool the City can be. We'll concentrate on the funky places that we love and tell you about the places we take our friends.
