Panir Imbrocciate
Cowgirl Cremery's Panir cheese is wonderfully buttery and mild. It pairs exceptionally with rum and coffee. The beauty of ibrocciate is that it is so simple. With small additions of different flavorings like citrus zest, instant coffee, lavendar, rose water, or anise it's possible to completely change the experience.

- 1 cup pastry dough
- 2 cups Cowgirl Creamery Panir Miliford Cheese
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons rum (optional)
- 2 teaspoons instant coffee (optional)
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest (optional)
Procedure
Preheat oven to 350
To make the Imbrocciate is really simple. Use a simple tarte dough to line a small tarte pan. Keep the dough and pans cold to prevent the butter from melting. It's easiet to set them in the fridge, if you have room, while you make the filling.
The filling is made by mixing all of the ingredients together. In alarge bowl add the cheese, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Choose one of the additional flavorings either rum, coffee, or lemon zest and add it directly to the bowl.
Fill the dough lined tart pans with the cheese mixture and put them direcly into the pre-heated oven, Bake for 15 minutes or so. You are lookng for the top to be browned while the interior stays gooey.
