Brocolli with Gemelli Pasta, Garlic, and Parmesan Cheese

For 4 people
- 3-4 big heads of broccoli
- 16 oz dry gemelli pasta
- 4 cloves garlic crushed
- 4 anchovie fillets
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup grated parmasean cheese
Procedure
Prepare the brocolli by trimming off the flourettes. Peel the brocolli stalks and chop them into bite sized pieces. Steam the brocolli for 5 minutes.
Bring 8-10 cups of salted water to a boil and add the pasta. Cook for 12 minutes or until al dente
Drain the pasta and in the same pot add the olive oil and bring to a medium heat. Add the garlic and anchovies and mix until the anchovies melt into the oil.
Turn off the heat and toss in the pasta and mix throughly. Add the steamed brocolli and parmasean cheese. Mix lightly and serve
