Crispy Brussel Sprouts

Procedure

Bring a medium pot of salted water to a boil and add the brussel sprouts. Boil the sprouts for 3-5 minutes until the sprouts become tender but are still firm. When the brussel sprouts have cooked drain them and set aside.

In a large frying pan add the olive oil, garlic, anchovies, and crushed pepper. Saute over a medium heat until the anchovies melt into the oil. Add the brussle sprouts and bread crumbs to the hot oil and mix throughly.

Cook the brussel sprouts until the bread crumbs turn light brown and are very crispy.

When done place the brussel sprouts into a serving dish and sprinkle the parmasean shavings on top.
